I don't think it matters which foot you kick with when carrying the ball out and playing short passes. As a professional footballer that should be your bread and butter. Hitting the channels shouldn't really matter which foot either as it's a relatively short pass, not a raking Glenn Hoddle cross field gem.
I'd be confident that they should all be capable of swinging their weaker foot to clear the danger if forced out wide defensively. Not pretty but effective.
Horsfall probably could play that type of role, but as the central defender he needs to play a different type game and always be the last defender.
