Posted by Beth Jerwers on January 25, 2007, 9:01 pm, in reply to "Re: Pregnancy " I just discovered this board (I know this is an older post.) and thought I would respond. My name is Beth, I'm 34, mother of two children. My son is 6 and my daughter is almost 18 months. My CP effects my legs. I use a walker for short distances, a wheelchair for things like shopping. It is completely possible for you to have healthy children. I carried both my kids to term, induced with both, quick labors. The only problem that I noticed was sciatic nerve pain towards the end of my pregnancies, to the point where if I wanted to move across the room I had to crawl or be in my chair. It was temporary. My son just started Kindergarten, while my daughter runs all over the place. I'm a stay at home Mom. It's the best decision I've ever made. Good luck in whatever you decide!
