Bob you also raised an interesting point too, regarding the stem cell bit, a few yrs ago ai seen some documentary on the potential of stem cell reversing damage to disease or damage, whenwe found out I was expecting our second child, I immediately started my own research and got on the phone with my daughter's neuro hoping to get him on board with me in taking my son's umbilical fluids and injecting it into my daughter spine or brain to help the nerve endings regain some kind of reversal effects, he advised me this practise was again.. only being carried out in England and unless I wanted to travel there and deliver my baby and have the treatments done there I could consider it, but there was no way i'd be allowed to do it in canada as it was too risky. I wanted to do that only because i seen it as a way of treatment, I was do desperate to find some kind of help for my daughter after she reached a plateau in her physio therapy, looking back now Im relieved we didn't follow through with it, she's come a long way and she's perfectly fine, sure she has her disability but still, she's perfetc to us. thats what matters ! I agree with Bob, and its very unfortunate these parents opted to do this. They didn't allow their daughter to thrive.
