Hey there, I know this may be a strange way to jump onto this board but this has been such a challenge for me. I've been in a serious relationship with a man but my having chidren is still a something he struggles with. He's a young man, and it had certainly never been something he dreamed about, dating a single Mom, and even more so dating someone with a child who is severely disabled and he though he is excellent with my kids, he really struggles with understanding how precious he is, as is,and how I love being a momma. Please suggestions on relationships, red lights, green lights, how do you proceed and ease someone into things? What happened with you? I love this man, and he loves me but this is so difficult. I'm managing going to university, a three year old and two year old disabled little Mr. Please I would love to hear anything, I know divorce rates are so much higher when there is a child with these kinds of challenges.
