Posted by Elizabeth on November 25, 2006, 6:05 am, in reply to "Re: adult living with cerebral palsy" If I was going to try medication for my spasms I would need to find out more information such as. 1. How often I woul have to take the madication? This may not make sense but my spasms are worse in the middle of the night and they stop me from getting a good night's sleep. My spasms are very painful and I have a low tolerence for pain because when I was a baby I was very premature and I had to have a operation without anasetic. Do they use Botox injections on Adults with Cerebral Palsy? I have only heard of little kids with C.P. getting Botox Injections . I also do not like needles. I have a Massage Therapy appointment this morning which should help. Thanks for your support Elizabeth
Hi Allanna,
I have thought about medication for muscle spasms . I have a appointment to see a specialist in London Ontario but the appointment is not until April so I am trying to manage with this the best I can until my appointment.
When I have my appointment I think I will ask about medication.
2. What are the side effects
3. How storong would it be?
4. Could I take it just at night?
