trans mount

Does anyone know if the transmission crossmember different between a c-4 car and a c-6 car? I'm installing a 429/C-6 into a 78' XR7 car that had a 351W/C-4. I have the engine in and bolted down, but of course now I'm having issues bolting down the trans. Thanks
