I have decided to put my collection of Cougars for sale as well as other 1970's era Ford's and Lincoln's. Here is a brief description of what I have.
Cougars:
1979 Mercury Cougar XR-7 (Dark Cordovan Metallic, matching interior. Leather seats! Sports Instrumentation on the dash. Replaced the original 302 block (as that motor was shot)with one from a 1986 Lincoln Town Car, with original intake and carb. from the '79. Body is in very, very good condition considering it is a Southern Michigan car with minor scattered areas of surface rust. The body is overall in excellent shape and underneath is also in very good shape. Vehicle has about 93,000 original chassis miles on it.
1977 Mercury Cougar Brougham! RARE 4 DOOR COUGAR, These are very hard to come by and I own two of them. One is a Light Jade Metallic (probably been repainted in it's past) Dark Jade interior, Vinyl seats. 97,000 miles and runs like a top! Drives like a dream. 351M/400 C4 trans. Regular AM/FM. (Not stereo!) Whoever owned this car from 1979-2000 kept track of what was done to it as it is documented in writing in the owner's manual. Bought in Pennsylvania back in 2005. Body is in very good shape.
My 2nd 4 DOOR Cougar is from Kansas and is a rust free beauty! Cream colored, dark brown vinyl top, dark brown on the bottom. Dark brown interior (vinyl seats) with POWER LOCKS, POWER WINDOWS, POWER DRIVER'S SEAT. This car is extremely clean underneath. Runs and drives excellent! 42,000 miles. 351M/400 V8 with a FMX trans.
I also own a 1977 Villager Station Wagon in Dark Jade Metallic but I am still undecided on selling it. Ask me for details.(RUST FREE VEHICLE CAME FROM ARIZONA, ORIGINATED OUT OF MINNESOTA AS IT HAS THE DEALERSHIP EMBLEM ON THE BACK)
1976 LINCOLN CONTINENTALS... One is a 2 Door Town Coupe and a 4 door as well. Ask for details.
Also have a 1976 Mercury Montego MX Station Wagon that needs body work but runs and drives very good!
1972 Ford LTD 2 Door Brougham. Extremely clean original with virtually no rust on it. 111,000 miles on the 400 V8. Was converted over to electronic ignition. Runs and drives great! Very clean body. Original burgundy paint. Black vinyl top is excellent.
