Diane two reasons that I moved on it is because it's a newer vaccine than the previous one which used live cultures. There are no live cultures in Shingrex so there's no chance of getting shingles from it. And a friend told me that a coworker contracted shingles in her eyes! Apparently shingles can show up anywhere in and on the body. As a matter of fact, the pharmacist who gave me the second dose said that there was a customer, a lady, that he was trying to help because she contracted shingles and it was starting to spread to her eyes.
