My roommate (in the black) and me the first night there... getting ready to go to a nice dinner -- our one-and-only nice dinner while there! The rest of the time we were hiking the rainforest, and staying at a ranger station with no electricity or hot water. I'll spare you the photos of us during the hike!

The grasshoppers were HUGE and BEAUTIFUL. They were about 7 inches long, and looked like they were hand-painted.

(All of them are 21-years-old.... HALF my age! But I kept up with them! I wasn't about to let some boys think I was some woosy-girlie-girl!)

We came out here at night with flashlights, and we could see alligator eyes everywhere looking at us!!! It was really creepy!
