From the land of the Bluenose.....sure was nice to get out a swinging on the home turf although I couldn't dress like I did on the last dig.
Hit a local park dressed in the standard uniform of the camo jacket with furbie and did the Dingle big time hitting a large copper token and then retreating to another park as my blood was still a tad on the thin side and the sou'wester was a blowing youz. 1823 was a good year for ....Lord only knows!
Hit the quota and headed home for some heat and a Burgal Rum on ice. Take for the day was 50 coins @.90 including the token and a few Yank "Wheaties."
Thought I would put away my trip finds and took a second look and found that I had dug a first for this bouy while away.............Son of a sea horse my first "Metal Detecting token!"
Best was yet to come after the worst..got transferred to "Alfa Shift " at work but on the bright side had 5 of 7 on Super 7 and won slightly over $90. Cod liver oil capsules do bring good luck and keep out the cold however when it comes to sand fleas and flying vampire bites I'll stick to the Bud!
